The Advanced Social Media Workshop is designed for business owners, marketers and managers who are currently using social media for business, but need clearer direction on how to strategically drive return on investment using the tools available. This in-depth training day includes ten sections, with hands-on tasks to complete with a smaller class size to allow for a deeper learning experience. For a full list of inclusions, please see below. Due to the advanced nature of this workshop, a laptop is required to take part fully, along with an Ads Manager or Business Manager account on Facebook. Ideally, you will also have an existing website (or plans to have a website).
What We Cover
SECTION 1 – PLATFORM UPDATES
We’ll look at the latest statistics, trends and updates on the main platforms, plus discuss new functionality and key methods you should be implementing.
SECTION 2 – CONTENT STRATEGY
Content is still king! We’ll discuss content strategy, how we execute ours and then we’ll help you develop yours by way of content themes, ranking and additional apps that will help you create magic plus more.
SECTION 3 – AUDIENCES
When it comes to paid targeting on social media, the options are endless. We’ll dive deep into insights like never before. We’ll discuss in-depth targeting methods, Custom Audiences, Lookalike Audiences and more.
SECTION 4 – ANALYTICS
Understanding data is key to success – if we understand what we are looking at, we can use this to do even better. We’ll look at analytics in depth for some of NZ’s most recognisable brands, then work through yours.
SECTION 5 – CREATIVE HUB
The visual side of your adverts on social media will often dictate how successful a campaign is. Using the new Creative Hub tool, we’ll build and customise advert placements! With a helicopter view, we’ll work through 27 individual placements to create the ultimate visual template.
SECTION 6 – PIXELS
Pixels are great – and we’re not talking about what’s on your TV screen! Pixels allow us to track audience usage and behaviour data to better understand how our campaigns perform. We’ll look at Events Manager, set up Custom Events and more!
SECTION 7 – BUDGETING
How much should you be spending? We’ll look at best practice examples, including the set-up of campaigns, massaging budgets, audience sizing and more.
SECTION 8 – BRANDING
As part of your overall paid approach, branding campaigns are absolutely key. We’ll discuss digital marketing funnels, their purpose and how we need to apply these to our strategy. In this section, we’ll also build a branding campaign from scratch.
SECTION 9 – CALL-TO-ACTION
It’s time for action! We’ll work through call-to-action based campaigns and discuss key methodology including re-targeting.
SECTION 10 – KEY SUMMARY/Q&A
We’ll end with some discussions and key takeaways from the workshop.
